PT PLN (Persero) has an obligation to implement GCG as mandated in SOE State Minister Regulation No. Per-01 / MBU / 2011 regarding the implementation of GCG in SOEs.
As one of the SOEs, PT PLN (Persero) has an obligation to implement GCG as mandated in the SOE Ministerial Regulation Number Per-01 / MBU / 2011 regarding the application of GCG in SOEs. The Company realizes that the current application of GCG is not only fulfilling obligations, but has become a necessity in carrying out the Company’s business activities in order to maintain sustainable business growth, increase company value and as an effort for the Company to be able to survive in competition.
High capability in implementing GCG principles has been realized by the Company including the establishment of the GCG management function under the Corporate Secretary who specifically handles and monitors the effectiveness of the implementation of GCG in the Company. The Company has continuously taken steps to improve both the soft structure and GCG infrastructure in order to improve the quality of GCG implementation. The Company has issued supporting documents in implementing GCG such as GCG Code, Board Manual, and Code of Conduct. The Board of Commissioners also has supporting organs, namely the Committees of the Board of Commissioners whose role is to help improve the effectiveness of the implementation of the supervisory function carried out by the Board of Commissioners.
