Sinthya Roesly, an Indonesian citizen, was born in Pekanbaru on October 6, 1969. She was appointed as Director of Finance of PLN pursuant to the Decree of the Minister of SOEs No. SK-325/MBU/12/2019 dated December 23, 2019 and No. SK-49/MBU/02/2021 dated February 17, 2021 regarding job title nomenclature. Later reappointed to the position on September 21, 2022 based on SK-213/MBU/09/2022.

She began her career as a Commissioning Engineer at PLN’s thermal power generation project in 1993, and has since held key positions such as Manager of System Analysis & Evaluation (2003-2006), Deputy Director of Corporate Strategy & Planning (2006-2009), and leadership roles in infrastructure finance institutions like PT Penjamin Infrastruktur Indonesia and Indonesia Eximbank. With expertise in system analysis, corporate strategy, financial risk management, financing strategy, and organizational transformation, she strengthens PLN’s financial foundation to be more resilient and adaptive in the evolving energy sector.
