The awards were presented in Jakarta on July 2, 2025, by Taufik La Tofi, Chairman of The La Tofi School of Social Responsibility. He commended PLN for embedding CSR into its business model and aligning with international sustainability standards.

CSR is more than a program — it’s a shared commitment for a better future,” stated Taufik La Tofi.

He emphasized that companies recognized at the PLN CSR Awards 2025 have demonstrated actionable results in addressing social, economic, and environmental priorities.

PLN’s President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, noted that the achievement reflects the company’s dedication beyond power supply.

“PLN is not only delivering reliable electricity but also driving social transformation through our TJSL (CSR) programs,” he said.

The CSR strategy is implemented through a Creating Shared Value (CSV) approach, focusing on high-impact, measurable outcomes.
Key initiatives include the reuse of fly ash bottom ash (FABA) for rural infrastructure, Electrifying Agriculture, waste-to-energy co-firing, and more.

Our CSV framework ensures each program delivers value to both communities and the business. This recognition motivates us to expand our reach and elevate program quality,” added Darmawan.

PLN received the Platinum SDGs title for securing more than 12 category wins under the SDGs benchmark. The awards covered a wide range of community development programs from education and health to women’s empowerment and environmental stewardship.
